Smart Toilet Certification Checklist for Buyers
Check smart-toilet compliance by exact model and destination market. A certificate for one listed configuration does not automatically cover another model, voltage, function set, or country.
The short answer
Start with the destination market, then lock the exact model and electrical configuration. Match every claim to a certificate, report, label, drawing, or approved sample for that same configuration.
MICAWA’s reviewed CCC certificate image is useful evidence, but its scope is narrow: six named models at 220V, 50Hz, 1200W, and IPX4. It is not evidence for every MICAWA smart toilet or for approval outside China.
Identify the exact smart toilet model
Use the complete model code and option suffix on the quotation, technical sheet, sample, certificate, rating label, packaging, and shipment documents. A shared product name or similar appearance does not prove certificate coverage.
Begin with the available sanitary ware scope and the toilet product route. Then compare the quoted model against the model-level evidence on the quality and certifications page.
Smart Toilet Compliance Matrix
Complete one matrix for each quoted model and destination market. Do not combine several variants in one row unless the supporting evidence explicitly covers them.
| Item | What buyer should confirm |
|---|---|
| Model | Exact model / variant |
| Voltage | Destination voltage |
| Frequency | 50/60 Hz |
| Rated power | Exact configuration |
| Plug | Market-specific |
| IP rating | Evidence for model |
| Electrical certification | Destination market |
| Water efficiency | Applicable market requirement |
| Label/manual | Required language |
Confirm voltage, frequency, power, and plug inputs
The reviewed MICAWA CCC certificate image lists 220V, 50Hz, and 1200W for its covered models. These values describe that documented certificate scope. They should not be copied to a different model or destination configuration without matching evidence.
For the quoted product, record rated voltage, frequency, rated power, plug type, cord requirements, and any relevant installation inputs. Compare the specification, rating label, sample, and certificate report before approval.
Electrical evidence rule
If the destination market needs a different voltage, frequency, plug, or power configuration, treat it as a separate compliance case. Do not assume an electrical change remains inside the original certificate scope.
Check IP and functional requirements
The same reviewed CCC evidence lists IPX4 for the covered models. This is model-specific evidence, not a site-wide claim for every smart toilet in the range.
Ask which document supports the IP rating for the exact configuration. Separately list the functions included in the sample and quotation, such as flushing, washing, drying, heating, controls, and protective features. Functional similarity does not establish regulatory equivalence.
Water-efficiency requirements also depend on the destination market and product classification. Record the applicable requirement and the evidence requested instead of applying a general water-saving claim.
Verify the certificate model scope
The reviewed China Compulsory Certification image identifies certificate 2025120720122321. It lists these six smart-toilet models:
- MB-1868BL
- MB-1868BM
- MB-1868CM
- MB-1868CL
- MB-1863BL
- MB-1863BM
The certificate image shows an issue date of January 16, 2025, and a validity date through January 15, 2030. Buyers should still recheck current status, the holder, manufacturer, standard, annexes, report references, ratings, and model list before relying on it.
A logo, cropped image, or supplier statement is not enough. Keep the complete certificate and supporting report with the quotation revision and sample record.
Confirm destination-market compliance separately
A China CCC certificate is not an EU approval. CCC documents a China certification context. It does not establish that the product meets every electrical, product, water, labeling, or documentation rule in another market.
The European Union’s official CE marking guidance explains that CE marking applies only where specific harmonized EU rules require it and that the manufacturer must identify and satisfy the applicable requirements.
Define the destination country and sales route before finalizing the product. The importer or responsible economic operator should confirm the applicable requirements with qualified guidance and record unresolved gaps as quotation conditions.
Application context matters too. A buyer planning hotel and commercial washrooms may have different documentation, service, and installation needs from a team specifying public engineering washrooms.
Prepare the documentation checklist before quotation
Build one document register for the exact quoted model. Mark each item as received, verified, pending, not applicable, or outside supplier scope.
- Model record: full model code, option suffix, drawing revision, function list, and included accessories.
- Electrical record: voltage, frequency, rated power, plug, cord, and rating-label copy.
- Compliance record: certificate, annexes, supporting reports, holder, standard, model list, issue date, and current-status check.
- Market record: destination-country requirements for electrical safety, water efficiency, labels, manuals, and responsible-party documents.
- Sample record: approved configuration, label, controls, functions, installation instructions, and any open differences from the quotation.
For non-electrical ceramic products in the same procurement package, use the separate toilet and basin sourcing checklist. Keeping the two records separate prevents smart-toilet electrical evidence from being generalized to other sanitary ware.
Frequently asked questions
Does MICAWA’s CCC certificate cover every smart toilet model?
No. The reviewed certificate image lists only MB-1868BL, MB-1868BM, MB-1868CM, MB-1868CL, MB-1863BL, and MB-1863BM. Buyers should match the complete quoted model code to the certificate and its supporting documents.
Does China CCC count as approval for the European Union?
No. CCC is evidence for a China certification context. EU requirements must be identified and satisfied separately for the exact product and destination market.
When should a buyer complete the smart toilet compliance matrix?
Complete it before sample approval and quotation finalization. This lets the buyer identify configuration changes, missing documents, label needs, and destination-market checks before the commercial basis is fixed.
Review a model-specific smart toilet evidence pack
Send the exact model, electrical configuration, destination market, and required documents. MICAWA can identify which supplied evidence matches the request and which checks remain open.
