A Residential Bathroom with Hospitality Expectations
Qionghai Palm Peninsula combines everyday residential use with the visual expectations of a resort-oriented property. Bathrooms needed to feel comfortable and considered, not simply functional.
MICAWA’s role was to coordinate the products that shape the room most visibly: the sanitary ware, vanity storage, faucets and shower fittings.
The Challenge: Create a Lifestyle Look that Can Be Repeated
A show apartment can be refined through individual adjustments. A development cannot rely on that level of improvisation in every home.
The approved bathroom direction had to work across recurring layouts and remain stable through batch production. Cabinet proportions, faucet placement, sanitary ware dimensions and shower controls needed to feel coordinated while remaining practical for installers and residents.
Starting with the Vanity and Daily Routine
The product strategy considered how residents move through the bathroom.
The cabinet and faucet formed the main visual anchor. Their proportions and placement needed to support washing, storage and countertop use. The toilet and shower fittings were then aligned with the same room language and with the available installation space.
This daily-routine perspective helped the project avoid selecting products purely from catalogue images. The combinations were evaluated as parts of a lived-in room.

Converting the Showroom Direction into Project Supply
After the product combinations were confirmed, MICAWA coordinated manufacturing across ceramics, furniture and water fittings.
The mixed-category scope made production follow-up important. A delay or change in one product family could affect the completion of the whole bathroom package. MICAWA’s integrated project process kept the categories connected through quality review and delivery planning.
The Result: A Coordinated Bathroom for a Lifestyle Development
Qionghai Palm Peninsula shows how residential bathrooms can carry a stronger lifestyle identity without becoming difficult to reproduce.
The project combined the visual role of the vanity and fittings with the practical demands of repeated apartment supply. The result was a clearer connection between property positioning, daily use and manufacturing execution.
